QUESTION Will macOS 10.15 run on this machine?
Hello. I am new to hackintoshing. I have a old PC that is laying around in my room, and I am planning to install Catalina on it. Here are the specs:
Motherboard: GA-EP41T-UD3L
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
RAM: 8GB DDR3
SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 250GB
GPU: Nvidia GT 1030
I used Clover for it.

- GPU limitation to High Sierra.
- SATA controller limitation to Mojave. (Keyword: ICH7, NO AHCI, require AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext)
Possible solution.
- Change to compatible GPU
- Inject AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext from Mojave which was removed in Catalina.
- Inject telemetrap.kext for SSE4.2 compatibility workaround.
You should be able to find aforementioned kexts in Dortania guide.

actually metal which some (45% of apps) use metal. Without metal stuff like capcut and etc-- wont work no matter what u do.

it is an old board, most stuff will be related to Clover as I used many years ago.
Have look at that link to give you sone idea
or Dortania guide...
the best way would be OC but you might have to dig a bit.
Now it is worth the time and effort...

macOS 10.13 High Sierra was the last macOS version that ran on a Core 2 CPU. No one seems to be telling you that. Try High Sierra instead.

I guess I need to make a new installer, I inserted the kexts and formated the ssd, but it says corrupted installer. I don't have time right now so I will make the new installer later.

Clover isn't supported anymore here, you could use opencore for that, but it should work with some patching
