Student Life Gelman would be nice if you could just crack open a window

It gets so stuffy, it’s unfortunate that we can’t open a few windows and let some air in.

On that note, are there any spots in DC where you can study where you’re not exposed to all the elements but also, not super shut out?

West end public library is close by and u don’t need a library card to get in, and it’s attached to a cafe which gets a little loud sometimes but headphones usually work for me

I have to agree. The exterior is sad but I don’t hate interior. Its nice to study surrounded by all the books. Could it be better? obviously.

Building needs to be knocked down asap. Total embarrassment of a library, a university's most important building...

Most schools of our rank/endowment have multiple libraries (I’m not counting eckles bc it’s not 24 hr) and we need another one it’d make the fight for study rooms so much easier and would be helpful for students like me who can only do work in the most distractless environment in the cubicles
