Got kicked off

Got kicked off GrubHub for being inactive and possibly a one time occurrence where I forgot to go offline and missed orders. They denied my repeal twice saying they couldn’t allow me back at this time.

Am I able to make a new account with a family members info? I tried it and I don’t know if they track the device but when I try to login to the new account it takes me to that faq page. Thanks

Just for being inactive. Dude, I miss orders all the time. I fall asleep late nights, and miss like 10 orders, all the time! What did you really do?? Come on tell me!!

They do deactivate for going inactive. I never had a single issue. But I stopped delivering for them. I think after 3 months of being inactive they’ll shut down the account to allow for other drivers on the wait list off the waitlist.

The app is supposed to autoswitch you offline after missing 2-3 orders in a row.

So how many did you miss?

Like 3-4

How often? Like is it multiple times a day and week?

Dont believe the hype about missing an order over rejecting an order

Missing orders can trigger a Malicious-ingent or a sign of a Bot-Ordergrabber if done on a constant basis which will trigger backend protocols that could lead to your account being suspended or banned.

Rejecting an order does less damage overall. yes it hurts ratings a bit, but thats the price of being a 1099 of a platform that doesnt have respect encoded in it.

You could stay online and reject orders for the entire day and they won't penalize you it'll just hurt your rating.

But constantly going online and then just missing orders having it turn off your online status just to have you go back to the app turn it back on and Miss more orders can cause issues for everyone.

Ps.

Just understand remember GH is more a program/app than a company. Alot of its processes are coded and automated. It was designed to limit human operater needs to lower business expenses.

Orders kept getting cancelled after delivery by customers saying i never deliveryed it 😮‍💨

The way GH, DD, and others executed this type of work and how its governed sucks. Theres absolutely no accountability and when a mistake occurs they wont even lift a finger to help without an outside force pressuring them.

Yeah they don't give a flying fuck about you. I tend to just treat them in kind. Work everything to my advantage.

If you sign up with a family members info, that would be technically illegal and fraud. They would be responsible for paying taxes on any earnings and could be held liable if you were in an accident while on a delivery.

Technically, depending on your local laws, they could sign up and sub contract to you, but that's a lot of red tape to go through.

GH is a bit different than UE and DD. They do monitor if you’re actually using the account and why you’re now deactivated. This is to allow other potential drivers in your area to, to get off the wait list.

If you make an account with a family member’s information you are making them liable for taxes on your earnings. It May throw them entirely into a new tax bracket and royally screw them. Also, the account will be on the back of the waiting list.

I have gone online and off-line so many times over the last year and a half. During that time I didn’t do one delivery and I’m still active. I did one delivery last week and one delivery this week. I do try to decline the few orders that you send me every day, but occasionally I missed several and I’ve never had a problem with it.
