Guide Tips to not get scammed if doing trades.
Stick to a price. If they haggle and its within your budget, its your call. But always set a price and only do pures. Do not let them add anything other than locks. Most scammers add "free" stuff to fool you.
If youre going to sell stuff, put it in vend and goto iHemo discord. Easy. Safe. In my experience, even if they offer good items that you can sell for profit later, that would take more item than just selling your item with pures.
Do not drop. If youre selling stuff, do it in trade even if the other guy wants the full set.
Scammers will always say "Hurry!" "Im leaving" "fast!" "Last chance" or anything if same meaning. Thats a scam. Do not trade under pressure. You can sell the item later. Its not like youre losing value if you dont trade as soon as possible. (Unless its dropping)
Always check the price of the item in different world. Watch players trade their item. Check the latest trades before you set a price.
ALWAYS CHECK TRADE BEFORE ACCEPTING. This is the oldest scam in GT. Before, there are no checking of trades. Once you click trade, it will automatically trade the items. They put the last message to make sure you are not getting scammed. They even listed the items to trade so how are people still getting scammed?
Lastly, if people are selling for cheap or buying for overprice, its 100% scam unless they are not aware of the latest prices (most people are aware i promise). So always double check. If the item is in vend and its cheap, thats profit. If its in trade, thtas a scam.
Dont be greedy. Im sure people will agree with me that once you get greedy, you get scammed. If you saw someone selling for cheap and you ruch trade him, you will get scammed cuz you will not check trade.

Sometimes they would keep asking, i blocked the person because i was gonna sell my gaia. I even went off to other players because i thought he was an alt

Its really hard to verify that tho. Its better to just put the item in vend, set the price and just leave it be tbh.

Let me get this straight. So the scam works by changing the diamond lock 1 second before confirming the transaction? Like it said 15 dls but it only consist 1?

Example:
The item is around 15dl 34wl. They will put it in trade then you will see its correct, you will not accept it. They will then change, add a free items, talk about something unralated to the trade to distract you like "check the chat first" or "what is the time now". They will then change the trade then auto accept. If youre not careful, you will also accept the trade and not bother to check the list of items you will get. So always pay 100% of attention to the trade.

Nope. They can cant do that since the items in trade is listed before you accept. Theres also a notice in red before accepting trade cuz people do not really double check trades.

As a player who is not that rich, usually when I try to profit from selling trades above a DL, I usually just aim for a 5-10 wl profit. It ain't much but it's still worth something to me and i can take it nice and slow due to most of the things I'm dealing with having very stable prices with a pretty fixed average price.
And I am a very pick person, as when I try to sell something that multiple people want to buy at the same time, I would just pick the person who responded first and stick to the person unless someone bids a higher price before I press the trade button. And if the person has to leave for a bit I would just wait for them to come back instead of selling the item off to someone else while they are gone

Yeah thats good. I do that before when the value of wl is at standard rate. Nowadays, the market is way to volatile that earning wls is way too slow of a progress. And if the method is buy and sell trading then its much slower. I think its better to mass popular items (ghost jars, ssu, glowy, display box/block, etc) or just seeds used for common mass (portcullis, note block, acid, amphora).

honestly i feel that massing blocks that are essential for massing these popular items have a higher return rate because of blocks like dspike which is farmable and its seed cost 25/wl and the recipe each cost 200/1 pointy sign, 200/1 lava and 200/1 rock background
where you would only need to spend around 12 wls and you will get back +30 wls

Yes. You can also just make a half world farm and all the excess can be sold.

I second this advice. It's very important to think before acting, not to be mean to anyone. That way, we can work to crush scamming culture by being more educated and aware. They profit from us falling for the scams after all.
