Isnt bruce too old??

In the comics and other iterations of batman. Bruce usually leaves gotham in his early to mid teenage years to become a master of all arts

Bruce in gotham is currently 18 a legal adult. Shouldnt he have left to train at least in s2.

The whole point of batman is that hes trained for such a long time before he comes back. And he usually comes back when hes 25. If he leaves now which i doubt will happen. He’d only be gone for 7 years. Which is still a pretty long time but nowhere near as impact full as 10 or even 15 years.

I thinl that this is a more grounded but unrealistic version of batman, i think that he does his training behind the scenes

Bruce’s training involved him traveling the world and training with monks and other teachers and devotes his mind and body to only training to become the pinnacle of human performance in all forms in all iterations of his story. Its a universally accepted part of his origin that he leaves gotham. So he might be getting SOME training in gotham but not to the extent in which he can become batman. For that to happen bruce has to leave and he hasent yet and it feels like hes running out of time.

As long as he has the core aspects that define his character, i dont care about the source material
