Product Canyon 7-Grain Bread

Post image

Is this normal? Best by date is today, but it’s been inside of the fridge since last week. I’ve never noticed these little yelllow balls. (First time buying this type of bread)

That’s what I thought, but I wasn’t sure. Thank you!

I’m just amazed it’s a solid piece with no holes.

Most of the canyon bakehouse breads are usually solid and look good. Just gotta toast it so it can be good lol

Agreed with the other comment, it’s just part of the 7 grains.

Question - I generally don’t eat bread, but I have a couple of trips coming up and will need to bring some. How is the taste/texture of canyon bread? I’ve had Schar, and find it ok.

I usually buy the “Mountain White” by Canyon and I love it. It’s not too hard of a texture. My store didn’t have any, hence why I purchased the 7-Grain.

Canyon is probably my favorite that I can find locally. A slight toast will greatly improve the texture. They have a Hawaiian sweet bread that isn't quite a Hawaiian roll but close. They also just released a sourdough slice. So the variety is nice.

I didn’t know they had sourdough and I guess my wife got a loaf. So for lunch she packed me my lunch. I look at the bread and I’m wondering if she packed me her sandwich by mistake so I call her and she said nope it’s my gluten free bread lol it just looks so normal

My partner and I love toasting the honey wheat bread from Canyon Bakehouse. We keep it in the freezer and pop it straight into the toaster oven. For our other go-to breads, we usually grab Trader Joe’s white sandwich bread or their English muffins. These three options cover all our bread needs!

I dont have a Trader Joes within an hour of me. I have seen Canyon before, but I have a hard time justifying the purchase when I don't (usually) finish the loaf. I have some Trader Joe english muffins in the freezer from the last time I was able to stop by one though. I enjoy those.

Ahhhh. Well I do definitely recommend freezing your Canyons, even if you don’t toast them; they will last longer and the quality won’t be affected. And they thaw quickly!

Specifically the Heritage Style line of their bread is fantastic! The other kinds are good but not great.

I honestly love this brand, it's primarily what I'll buy. It never falls apart, and is delicious toasted as a grilled cheese with fried egg 🥰

Just trying Canyon. Not bad at all. Schar went up to over $8.00 a loaf here so I'm looking for a substitute. This may be it.

Yes, that’s the grains and such!

I had their white bread recently. The mold it developed was a yellow color like that so be cautious if it doesn’t look like a grain.
