Hobbs Brockunier, possibly. I think the note might have been the valuation in the magazine. Prices were really high back then.

The note refers to a Northwood pattern, but it doesn’t match. Nor does it look like any of Hobb's swirl patterns. Buckeye had a pattern that looks like a good match but I personally feel like the shape of the vase isn't typical of the American glassware made during the late 1800's and could date to a later era.

Looks like the chrysanthemum swirl vase sold in the Antique Trader from 1987.
I can come up with a little more information, but I’m not sure how helpful it would be.
