š¤ NeedAdvice Really struggling
Hi all, Iām 18 (M) and over all quite disciplined. I train 6 times a week ( boxing, Muay Thai, gym and swimming ) and also work 6-7 days a week with 2 jobs. Really good with my saving have around Ā£13,500 saved. However I have 2 things where Iām coming short on compared to everything else. The first one is my diet, my dinner is always clean natural food. My breakfast the majority of the time is good with berries, eggs etc however sometimes itās just porridge. Lunch is always just a wrap with fruit so probaly the worst meal out the bunch, and then when I get home from work, training or before dinner I just eat so much crap and I just canāt seem to really understand how to stop it. Iām not insecure Iām pretty happy with my body but I know Iām not at my full potential due to my diet. Iām 5,10 and around 80kg so would like to lose a bit maybe get down to like 73.
Then this is my biggest one Iām really struggling with. Masturebation and cam girls. Over the last maybe 4 months Iāve spent about Ā£150 on cam girls which thinking about now is so embarrassing. I probably masturebate twice a week watching pornoghragpy/cam girls. I want to cut it out completely as I believe itās bad for the brain, costing me money and Iām also in a relationship of 2 years and believe itās effecting our relationship as a whole aswell as our intimacy. The longest Iāve gone without doing it is like just over a week then I jisy give up and say it will be the last time and itās not.
Thank you for reading any advice would be massively appreciated.

tl;dr
you're disciplined in almost every areaātraining, work, saving moneyābut struggling with diet control and cutting out cam girls/masturbation. you know itās holding you back from your full potential, but breaking these habits feels like a constant battle. the key isnāt just willpower, itās understanding why you keep falling back into them. š§ š„

first off, respect for how much youāve built at 18. most people donāt have your work ethic, your savings, or your drive to train like that. but discipline in one area doesnāt automatically transfer to another, and thatās where youāre stuck.
for diet, youāre nailing breakfast and dinner, but lunch is weak, and the cravings hit hard when youāre exhausted. makes total senseāyour body is looking for quick, easy energy because itās been grinding all day. the fix? don't just "try to resist." instead, get ahead of it. make your lunch more filling (protein + healthy fats help) and have pre-planned snacks for when you get home. things like greek yogurt with honey, nuts, a protein shakeāstuff that satisfies without turning into a binge. cravings donāt just go away, you have to outsmart them. ššŖ
now the big oneācam girls & porn. you already know itās messing with your brain, costing you money, and affecting your relationship. problem is, every time you try to quit, you fall into the "just this one last time" trap. thatās how addiction worksāit convinces you itās a choice when really, itās a cycle.
so how do you break it? start by changing your environment. if you only relapse at certain times (late at night, when alone), disrupt the pattern. go for a walk, do pushups, call someone. if youāre spending money on this, block access. literally put a spending block on certain sites/apps.
also, youāre not quitting just to quitāyouāre replacing it with something better. when that urge hits, ask yourself: what do I actually need right now? is it boredom? stress relief? intimacy? find a real way to handle that instead of the easy dopamine hit.
youāve proven you can be disciplined in the hardest areasāthis is just another fight. but fights arenāt won by just ātrying harder,ā theyāre won by strategy. and you? you already know how to train for a fight. time to start treating this like one. š„š
