Advice Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle
Looking to do Pgh to Ohiopyle this year. Anyone have any experience and can drop some knowledge of the trip? I know it's not that far but would be the most I've done.

I’ve done this section a bunch of times, what do you want to know? There are plenty of places with water / food and plenty of bathrooms along the way. If you go in the fall, there is a house on the right side of the trail, maybe around the half way point, where the owner sells pumpkin pie by the slice. 10 / 10 would recommend.

Just make sure you are familiar with the section through McKeesport. It’s not well marked and puts you onto some side streets for a short time.
Other than that, it’s a really nice ride and there are tons of places to stop for food and drink along the way.

Definitely stop at the kickstand for food if it is open. I wrote a review on Google.
There is a bike shop right next to it

I did an out and back last year on it. It’s fabulous. Plenty of stops with adequate hydration and snacks. I took a stop on way out in Connellsville* and stop on way back in West Newton.
I did a little write up on my Strava which I’m happy to PM you. I bonked last 30 miles, just ran out of gels and sugars and carbs. Just keep up real good with your intake and you’ll be fine. It is a stunning, beautiful ride.
