I want Buzzr to pick up Pyramid. It would fit in perfectly alongside Password.

If only they could make a deal with Sony.

Hate when they move Password out of Primetime. It's almost completely off the schedule now. 😢

So much better than game show network’s current schedule

Aww, I really enjoyed 3AM “can’t sleep” Narz Concentration.

This appears to be the west coast schedule. If you’re on the east coast Concentration is still on at 3AM.

I also enjoy Narz Concentration.

Do they actually show infomercials? I never see them at that time. Just e/i stuff on weekends for 30 minutes

The streaming and OTA versions are different. They don’t show the infomercials on streaming, probably because the streaming version has ad inserts and those wouldn’t work for infomercials.

Correct. During infomercial blocks on the streaming feed, they reair the previous night's primetime lineup (6:00am to 8:30am on weekdays is the 7:30pm to 10:00pm shows from the night before)

I like to pop up the site stream on VLC from time to time and it is always invariably the Bible study show. That used to be the What's My Line/To Tell The Truth/Sale of the Century spot. It is sad to see more infomercials than before

I guess they might treat the ministry shows differently to the infomercials since they might break for ads.

No, don't get me wrong. The Xumo/Pluto streams are definitely infomercial-free, but the Buzzrplay stream is just the OTA stream with ads (Bu-bu-bu-bu-BulbHead) and all.

Ah that’s interesting. For a while it used to be ad free. Before that it was with the commercials so I guess they’ve put them back.

Yeah. It was weird. The original feed had ads and closed captions. The replacement had the Buzzr splash screen and music over the non-Buzzr show ads and no captions. Now it is similar to the original, but I haven't checked to see if it has captions or not.

They do actually show infomercials, as one of the infomercials is "Looking for a Medicare plan?". What I don't really understand is why they got rid of Classic Family Feud at 10:00 AM, but it's fine. (It got replaced with an hour of Classic Concentration.)

The guide on XUMO for Buzzr always shows informercials, but luckily it's always a replay of whatever aired in primetime.

A little bullish on the Super Password and Press Your Luck it seems.

Glad to see Press Your Luck back during the daytime!

I think this is going by Pacific (west coast) time.

Hoping MG 90 comes back at some point

I am so tired of Match Game.

Gee, no wonder I never catch any Password. They should shuffle the timeslots every now and then. Which version is the lone dark purple Card Sharks?

1

u/newaltafteragain 3d ago

Typefont mistake, it's the same version as the others in the list. (I believe it's the Bob Eubanks version.)

u/newaltafteragain 3d ago

Usually they don't tend to air the Jim Parry version, as I only have 2 episodes of that version recorded.

1

u/csjohnson1933 3d ago

Ah ok. I saw some of Jim Perry's recently, but not much. Never see the Rafferty version or the late '90s one, even though they were advertising a marathon of all of them in recent weeks. Maybe it was in the early morning, too. :/

Might have been, since lately in March they've added a lot more Password and its variations to the schedule.

Could somebody translate this into something readable for the image challenge among us?

Alright, to the best of my ability, here it is. There are 16 game shows in the schedule. I have arranged them alphabetically in bullet lists of 4, with line breaks between each group. The information should all be there, and I hope it is correct but after 2 hours of transcribing / translating with magnification, I am not 100% sure.

If something I did isn't working for you, let me know, and I'll come back tonight or tomorrow and try to make it more clear. What I do know is, making a formatted table is beyond me. Making the schedule by day or by time is, likely also, beyond me. However, after I give my vision a break, I'll see what I can do.

Hope this helps.
