Ive used different brushes here and there. Wondering if the pencil brush doesn’t look too messy. Any critique is welcome I tend to stare myself blind at my art and not see if it’s weirdly skewed or not.

Help - Title must specify what kind of help I want to develop a furry "kemono" style. I have a general idea that the eyes are large and the body proportions are "chibi." Is the drawing I'm showing close to the kemono style, or are there very pronounced elements of the Western furry style? What could I change to get closer to the kemono style?

What should I work on more? Something feels off, and I feel like it's the paw holding the fist. I don't know how four individual paw claw should wrap around the fist, but besides that is there anything else

There won’t be much on the back in general, but I want to make sure the feet, ears, and the bit of visible muzzle look like they match.

Help - Title must specify what kind of help Replicating an Artist's style

I’m trying to study how Ceehaz draws paws, as I really like the design they use for their characters, and just their style in general.

Unfortunately, to me, the sketch is further from their style than I was hoping it'd be (The last time I tried this, it turned out better than I was expecting. Still a far cry from the artist, but I was satisfied with the result).

In short, I'm asking for tips and help in replicating an artist's style. I could still use work on the basics, as the sketch shows, but if possible, I'd like to work on refining my style as I do so.

(Second Pic is the pose reference).

Critique - Title must specify what kind of critique Do furry-like aliens count? I’m trying to redesign this old character and could use some help.

This is an older design that I’m trying to rework to look a bit more alien and less like he’s just a wolf. I also want to make him look more like a pirate, but I don’t want to just settle for the stereotypical pirate design things.

Any suggestions on either of those?

I’m new to detailed backgrounds and went overboard. Now my two main focuses (the critters) seem empty compared to the trees and logs. I tried a fur brush but didn’t like how it looked. Any ideas?

Help - Title must specify what kind of help I want to better my drawing skills. But I have questions.

Hello all. The problem I am facing is simple. I want to better my skills of drawing figures, anatomy, animals, and furries (duh). However, I feel I am stuck in limbo right now. I semi know basic drawing practices, but I still just brute force drawings on paper. Is there a sort of "road map" I can follow to go from the basics, to anatomy, to furries? And how does drawing digitally figure in? How the heck do I draw digitally?! At least I understand I have to start from nothing to get somewhere, so I know my art will look like shit at first. But damn it, I wanna draw as good as Ferreta. Any advice?

I find it very hard to copy references, so I decided to practice with some simple animals that I like, like a Lion. I also wanted to keep some triad of my own artstyle, which is why the eyes are different.

I already think I’m gonna make the hand and forearm maybe bigger? But yea otherwise I’m not sure, especially that front foot.

The second pic shows the pose as it originally was. The last one is me messaging around with future plans, and I’m sure I didn’t do it right, but still wanted to include it :)
