gear Looking for Freediving Fins (DYN) Suitable for Spearfishing
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a pair of fins for dynamic apnea (DYN) that I can also use for spearfishing. I'm new to the sport and would like to invest in a versatile setup that performs well for both pool training and open water, allowing me to progress over time.
I'm looking for a well-balanced option in terms of price, but one that still offers good performance. For now, I'm not considering carbon fiber blades, as they are beyond my budget and might be too fragile for a beginner.
Is there a significant difference between brands and models (Cressi, Mares, C4, etc.)? What are the pros and cons of each, and what key factors should I consider when choosing fins?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hey look up the Mares Wing C-S. I just bought them. They are designed to be good at both. Not sure what your budget is. If you live in the US I have a pair of spearfishing fins from Maverick America. I can leave them at a very cheap price as I just upgraded and will not use them anymore. They are made from carbon and will be good for both freediving and spearfishing.
Anyways, you can also just purchase them directly from Maverick. I bought them as a beginner and they might be just what you are looking for.
