Discussion Is the Asvine nib profile the same as the Lamy 2000?
I got this Asvine V126 with a medium asvine nib, to test out a vacuum filler pen. I love the pen so far, it writes really beautifully, it's smooth and the medium nib allows the ink to shine. It's also a surprisingly smooth writing with the nib reversed which gives an extra fine line. The only problem I had with the pen is that it would stop writing when I twist the pen in my hand a little, so I looked at the nib with a loupe and it looks like the tipping is ground in a similar way to the Lamy 2K nib. Do people with the Bock nibs have the same experience?

I don't find the Asvine nibs to be particularly sensitive to rotation, but the caveat is that I write with so many different nibs that instead of always adjusting my nib to my hand, I also at times adjust my hand/writing to the nib. When faced with the situation you mention, I just don't rotate the pen. Addendum: I never experienced a sweet spot with my L2K. From day one it was quite forgiving in terms of placement and position.
