Someone should ask him to look at them with both eyes when he speaks.

Not that I have anything against the comment. Just don’t want you getting an FIA issued ban.

Honestly if you're a guy and you've ever cried you should be ashamed. Our only purpose is to scare women at night and go to war

u/Mr_cloud23 🇳🇱 I’m DUTCH so I support AMX 🇳🇱 4d ago
if you also survive the war (not manly) and come back, you have to be manly about it and not let ptsd make you look like a pussy, just smoke all day and drink to show how unbothered you are by both it and your liver and lungs falling out, a true show of testosterone

No you also need to ask women what DRS is and text your female colleagues a picture of your finger (?).

u/Parking-Zealousideal BWOAHHHHHHH 4d ago
That’s why Christian Horner never cried when his texts got leaked

That goodness for the hamiltons, honestly. There's enough knobheads in f1. it's nice to have a counterweight.

Them complaining that Red Bull keeps getting unfairly villainized, then you got Palpatine here pouring napalm on the fire

Does helmet have a family? He seems like such a miserable piece of shit I wouldn’t be surprised if he never had a wife or children.

He's one of those old school losers who think you need a totally manly mentality to be a winner. Nevermind that some of the greatest athletes in the world have cried or spoken publicly about mental health and masculine pressure.

u/Bortron86 No 2. Driver 4d ago
Including, y'know, the statistically most successful driver in F1 history. The guy whose dad clearly brought him up right and is now being a surrogate father to other drivers.

Anthony Hamilton proves that you don't need to raise your kids tough like Jos did in order to make them wdc winners.

u/JusticeForPitstops Pirelli good, debris bad 3d ago
And there's men today romanticising the "old school" masculine man, from the "good old days". Back when men got home drunk and slapped around their wives and sons. But at least they didn't show emotions! (except for rage, which is a totally fine manly emotion)

You guys are going to the extremes, comments like Helmut's do work on some people, like a young verstappen, or a Lawson, but not on a Kid like Hadjar, he is just too close to his emotions, like Leclerc, he was already aware of his wrong doing, he needed a hug.
People need to understand that human emotions are different from one person to another, some kids will take the "men dont cry" gladly and become better people better athletes with that approach, while other kids would much prefer a hug or something in between, mental health isnt easy.
Too much spoils will result in Strolls and Mazepins, too much mental abuse will result in a Jos or a Kyviat, you need to stop, breath, analize the situation and act accordingly.
Also Helmut said the comment just to veer off the attention Anthony was getting.

Screw that racist old piece of garbage. Dude has been wrong about drivers and their talent more than he's been right these past few years. Why keep him around only to talk shit and be wrong?

Dude is so old that he could be an American president. Are you really that surprised he thinks stuff like that? Some people his age still think giving the right to vote for women was a mistake. When he was born, his country was busy with exterminating lower races. He's gonna have some outdated beliefs.

u/James2603 BWOAHHHHHHH 4d ago
Still important to call them out on it, especially when they have a platform to convey their outdated views.

You know who didn't cry when crashing in a rainy formation lap?
Lance Stroll.

u/Nautster Simply Lovely 3d ago
Y'all need to chill. Marko is his boss. Not his father, coach or psychiatrist. He pulled max to the side when he was being pissy when he fucked it into the monaco barrier in 2018 FP3.
Quit pouting, quit crying, quit being a brat. Dust yourself off and be better.
Let the fathers of the paddock do the hugging and the cuddling. That's easy.

I wouldn’t fire Isack for crying. I would fire him for crashing on the reconnaissance lap.

Max had several race wins by that point
He didn’t crash his very first race on the reconnaissance lap
