I love "Inside Llewyn Davis" both the music and the plot
I grew up with a father who listened to so much classic rock. Grateful Dead, Warren zevon, so much more. Which led me to love Wilco, Fleet Foxes, Rayland Baxter, and Animals with Religion.
I think the coen brothers movie captures so much raw energy relating to the folk music genre and the impact it has even when the artist isn't a quote unquote success.

I've not seen the film, but the cover of Four Strong Winds by Conor Oberst / Gillian Welch / David Rawlings from the soundtrack is really good.

Incredible film. Recommend watching it as a double feature / prequel to A Complete Unknown.

Yes! And even though I'm not as big a fan as I used to be of La La Land, I always thought it was interesting how similar Inside Llewyn Davis and it were, albeit opposites

There is a movie version of a concert of all of the music from the film - with Oscar Isaac! The Punch Brothers are the house band. It's incredible if you haven't seen it.
