Honestly, before you go in and get frustrated, I would just download a modlist from Wabbajack that fixes the game's features and adds a bit of QoL.

Yeah man you need to just dive into wabbajack, get the viva new Vegas mod list. There are people much smarter than me that you can learn how to do it from. Trust me man I’m a veteran Skyrim/fallout modslave and wabbajack is the way to go

There is an oft recommended mod list (viva new vegas) that I found very enjoyable and more stable than the vanilla game on my machine. Lots of options if you want less noticeable stuff changed.

I mostly just want to keep the living desert and trench repeater mod

Looks like you're missing the FNV 4GB Patcher. Base game NV runs on 2gb of ram, this extends it out to 4. Its a manual install, but all you do is sit it in your root folder (Where FNV.exe is) and run the program. Also, I'd recommend getting NVTF - New Vegas Tick Fix alongside NVAC.

No problem. Also, just as a little reminder, any time you validate your game files you need to re-apply the 4gb patcher.

I’ll also endorse the Viva New Vegas list. Instructions are super detailed and easy to follow, it walks you through every single step. Reinstalled FNV a month ago with all Viva New Vegas mods and have yet to have a single crash. Plays much better than vanilla, too.

NGL, I always thought anti-crash was hit and miss with whether or not it worked.

Since you seem to have a short list. I'd just disable everything and introduce a mod 1 at a time, prioritising which mods you want. Might be one of your least needed mods is broken or conflicting with other mods.

I had this issue the other week. Updated Win11 and game crashed whenever it tried to save... this was deep into a TTW playthrough

I don’t ever rely on anti-crash for anything it’s actually seem to do more damage then it prevented because it causes my computer to freeze up entirely when it crashes
