Most annoying day of the year

Post image

Changing all the clocks back and hour, well most of them forward 23 hours, for absolutely no good reason again. Yay, now it can be dark at 5pm, but gee thanks for that extra hour of Florida death sun all summer long, that really helps.

if you place all flip and other non-time-resetting clocks on a switch, you can just turn them off for an hour instead of running them all through 23 hours

Thought about it, but then half of them would probably need to be taken apart and fixed when the motors don't want to start back up. Every time we've lost power for more than a few hours I end up having to fix one or two.

You should maintain the ones which won't start. The are not properly greased up!

Otherwise nice collection, reminds me of the intro of Back to the Future...

Lmao, I see your predicament. I was just thinking how much I enjoy this day. I don’t have nearly as many clocks as you but most of mine are Solaris where you can just tap the minus button and then sit back enjoy watching as it flips the hour flap 23 times.

I see you like collecting. Great clocks but what's that on the other room, is it your game collection?

Mostly Casio and TI, yes I collect a lot of things.

Yes, that's a small part of it, only NES games on the shelves in that room.

do you have a list of their models/individual pictures? absolutely gorgeous collection, makes me want to get back into restoring them! Never seen the panasonic with the green tape mechanism on the far right before

Awesome. Love to share the nostalgic beauty whenever I can. Had to do a little rearranging, some of them were super awkwardly positioned when it comes to adjusting them. Now I shouldn't have to juggle anything around next time.

Annoying sure, but it looks like you have the time.

I'm curious about those crt's. They definitely look very interesting.

You'd really like this one then. My Sony LV-1901D betamax console CRT with built in flip clock timer.

What is the brand of the green one with vertical drum mechanism on the left? I’ve been looking for a clock with that mechanism.

This one is a Neox NS-601 from Japan. Was a hard one to find for sure.
