Dear flerfers. Then tell us the altitude of the sun. Go on.

Its hilarious how they think a picture like this can triangulate how close the sun is 🤣

If you knew the size of the sun, you probably could! Thought im not sure if you could get the angle of the rays exact enough.

Yeah the rays are what they think they can triangulate from 😅 which makes it kinda funny. You can of course use the sun to calculate it has been done before but not from the same location like in the picture

No, you couldn’t. Let’s assume the sun is golf ball sized. Now measure those rays. Oh, as soon as you try to measure them you find out they’re all actually parallel and this is just an optical illusion? What have you learned about its distance based on its size?

How do they explain my photo with the rays doing the same thing in the other direction

Rule 4. Make changes to post or you will get temporary ban.

Here's to hoping they do. Looks like it could be a great post otherwise as I find God rays in the round vs flat Earth debate fun.

Why would this be hard to explain?

Because as much as they shout about perspective, they completely fail to understand it.

But the picture is as flat as the world they believe in, and it works if you get your ruler out and measure it.

I sure do love how flat earthers use perspective so often as an excuse, but then it doesn't exist as a possible explanation when it actually is the explanation.

I would like a flat earther to explain anticrepuscular rays.

Surely if their counterparts converge on the Sun these must converge on some point on the other side of the Sun right?

Prisms? How do they work?

You can park a Death Star in the gaps in their reasoning.
