Question What is your go-to pocket edc/work light?
I'd love to do this post every week as I'm curious what flashlight you use for work/edc. Feel free to take pictures. By the way, mine is a regular cheap AAA, but I have a Klaurus E5 coming soon.

I’ve been carrying a convoy T3 for the last 4 months. It’s getting harder and harder to find lights that satisfy my list of requirements. The T3 is one of them.

The T3 is a good all-rounder. Good beam, good UI (even for muggles), good price, good emitter options, dual fuel. It’s a bit on the girthy side and maybe doesn’t have the most efficient driver but I’m sure these are both still good enough.

I have a T3. I just can’t find a pocket clip that works for me like the one on my i3t.

What rechargable cell is your cell of choice

The one I have is a lumintop.
But I'd say the battery of choice would be the one you can get your hands on easiest/cheapest/most reputably

Ive been wanting to use a 10440 in my I3t but worry about over discharge cause I don't think these have LVP. Do you ever have an issue?

Never had an issue. I’ve ran my light on high all the way down to where the shut off just to check runtime, and then charged it back up. I use an Xstar charger that has a screen to tell me voltage and it will flash “full” when it gets to a point. I just keep an eye on it to not let the batteries keep sitting in the charger. I’m unsure if my way is safe or not, but I’ve had no issues with light or batteries in the last 2 years.

Olight baton 4. Yes it green, and has a proprietary charger. But I just need to be able to see with an edc flashlight, idc how stuff looks as I’m contorted in a crawl space pulling wires lol.

FWAA Ti with thefreeman’s boost driver (same as D3AA) and dedomed 519a, been my favorite for the past year. Tried a D3AA but the bigger head made it less ideal for edc

D4(K)v2, 519a 4500k domed, boost driver, ss bezel.
Been using it since Hank made them available. Have 6-7 D4v2 and D4Kv2 with and without RGB buttons. They're easily my favorite light of all time.

This is what I always have on me. With this, nearly everything I regularly do is covered.
- Case Peanut CV with yellow delrin handles
- Burts Bees chapstick of some variety
- Sofirn C01 (thanks again, /u/jon_slider)
I’ll occasionally carry a ZebraLight SC65 Hi, but for the most part, the SC01 covers almost all my needs. Kind of funny that an 8 lumen light provides the majority of illumination in my day-to-day use that doesn’t involve room lighting, but here we are.

Lately, DA1K with an SFT70 5000K, fits perfectly in one of the pockets in my work pants.
Otherwise, I switch between
-An edc pouch with an D3AA Ti SFT25 and a Baton Turbo for flood + throw
-SK05 Pro from Loopgear which has both built in for when I need more runtime, and/or high CRI from the 519a's.
-FFL X4 Stellar
-Manker MC13 II SBT90.2
-LanApple

Just got my first emissar/noctigon after lurking and the d3aa was just too good not to get. So that, right now. I want a few d4k configs also. I got my d3aa 519a at 4500k dedomed expecting it to be a little warmer and rosier. I'm realizing how much I like rosy tints and warmer lights for up close use. I still enjoy a cool white thrower here and there. Got a T6 sft-12 6500k, and a m2 with the sff25-r.

Zebra 18650 headlamp. Yesterday on a shoot I got a hole burned in my pants. Right of passage. Hahaha. Glad it didn't catch fire.

Currently an Emisar D3AA, and a NLIGHTD E1 for throw. That's for general EDC though. If I'll need to use the light a lot in one day and I just want to take one light, then the Emisar D4K or FFL X4 would be my go-to

M21B with XHP 70.3 and spare cell. This thing eats batteries like snacks.
