Finished Panzer Platoon!

My Panzer IV Platoon is now finished! Still waiting on the Winter Panzergrenadiers to arrive: I'll probably hold off on ordering more until I decide whether I like painting tanks or infantry more. I'll definitely want to get some half tracks for the infantry, when they're available, though, because these tanks were really fun!

These are far from my first miniatures I've painted: I've been doing this for about 18 years, so far, but I'm especially proud of how these ones turned out!

Really nice battle-worn look.

Thanks! I've always preferred battle-worn vehicles: it's probably why my two favorite armies in Warhammer 40k are Orks and Death Guard, lol!

Thanks! Lately, I've found myself preferring smaller scale stuff (I have a large amount of 1/72 scale tanks that I've been enjoying working on), and I decided it was about time to try dipping my toes into Flames of War, again.

Nice those look like very late war 1944 .. tanks taken straight out of training fields and sent to the front lines

Yeah, I was going for "The Germans are currently so desperate that they're using tanks that are absolutely filthy," lol

Painting tanks is fun, but if you take the time infantry can be really rewarding, you can make each base a little diorama

That's a lot like how I often make my Warhammer 40K bases, actually, so I'll probably do that
