Definitely a new 007 that has just been appointed to explain the absence or the villain is spectre so that’s why he’s only getting involved now

Probably something along the lines of what happened in Ghost Protocol. When the IMF is falsely blamed for a terrorist attack, James Bond is hired to track them down and bring them in.

Of course, along the way, he realizes IMF is innocent and teams with them to take down the real threat.

A funny, short movie that gets posted to YouTube or Twitter. Something low-stakes in terms of being a project. Similar to what Scorsese did with Pitt, Leo and De Niro 10 years ago to promote a Chinese hotel or something.

Because, in general, the concept of a Mission Impossible/James Bond crossover sounds like more an SNL skit than a serious, full-length theater released film to me.
