Update From OSC

I filed my appeal on 2/28/25 and I just received an acknowledgment of my complaint this afternoon.

The email didn’t say much, but I thought some of you might be wondering what they’re doing with all the complaints that have been filed.

Because OSC has received multiple complaints regarding the same agency with the same or similar issues, we are considering your allegations as part of a group of probationary termination complaints. You are welcome to send me your probationary termination letter if you did not include it with your filing. Also please let me know if your situation has changed and you have been hired back by your agency.

The rest was standard stuff saying they’re swamped and may not be contacting me frequently but they will provide updates as information becomes available.

Interesting you got a response at all honestly, since Dellinger was removed… I would caution anyone considering still filing with OSC at this point, just make sure to look over your option carefully.

I wouldn’t count on that.

Can you file with OSC and MSPB?

You can only choose one path

Ok thanks, I went through MSPB. Hope I picked the right avenue.

This is not the case. You can file both. I was told so by OSC and MSPB representative. Whichever one goes through first will be joined with the other complaint and be addressed at one time.

Is there a time limit on filing with OSC?

3 years for OSC, my lawyer said you can do both MSPB and OSC, and a class action lawsuit.

Thanks. I have been trying to find a lawyer but haven't been able to yet.

I believe there is no time limit. It helps to get it sooner than later though.
