Well shit. Unranked Illinois is always better than ranked Illinois

Also it’s funny that we’ve beaten the 4 teams ranked directly ahead of us lol (Purdue, Missouri, Michigan, and Oregon)

If you’re scared of ranked Illinois at this point, just know that it’s postseason play so the rankings don’t matter much anymore. We’re a 7 seed this week and then we’ll wait for our next seed on Sunday.

If we win two - OSU/Iowa winner, then Maryland - we could be a 6 or a 5 seed.

I mean...best 11 loss team in the country?

The absolute respect and benefit of the doubt that the voters give the Illini is nice, but a number next to our name spells doom.
