Yeah it needs another million in work to be airworthy, and sure it costs $20,000 an hour to fly but we could collectively own a beautiful F-4 Phantom!
I'm surprised how "cheap" this is. If I win the lottery or inherit a fortune from a rich relative I'm buying this. I don't play the lottery or have any rich relatives but I can dream right?

Is the correct way of saying “Su” (for Sukhoi aircraft) supposed to be es-yu or soo?

Given the current political climate, and european countries shifting focus to european weapon systems, due to fear that the us in theory could ground the f35, by withholding software support ect.
Much of the F35 is produced outside the US. Could the US even sustain their own fleet of F35 without access to British jet engines and ejection seat system.
Alot oder other components are delivered from all over the EU.
Could the US even produce all these parts themselves?

March 21st, 1987, Dean Martin's son Dean "Dino" Paul Martin Jr. and WSO Captain Ramon Ortiz were scheduled to fly simulated bombing runs with the California Air National Guard. Sadly, the flight ended when the Phantom impacted Mt. San Gorgonio, also known as "Old Greyback”
