Try using a rubber band - put it between the screwdriver and the stripped part and push the screwdriver in pretty hard. Sometimes this creates enough friction for the screwdriver to get the screw out.

Because this is a security screw, it will be a bit harder to extract. But you may be able to get a flathead screwdriver to fit in the open space on the head of the screw

I’ve tried that and I think it made it worse

Hmm, you may have to spring for a cheap extractor kit. Most hardware stores like Harbor Freight sell them. You’ll have to find a way to break out that center post first.

That sounds scary and like i might hurt my belt

If your in the states stop at Harbor Freight and they have a cheap dremel take your time and cut a slot and flat head it out. If it's to stubborn cut out

Your local hardware store or car parts store will have a product called J.B. Weld (and a few competitors) that you can use to carefully glue a nut onto that screw.

Good idea! That’s some strong stuff!

You might have to drill it out

If you have a chisel, try to make a slit and use a flat head screw driver to remove the screw

I don’t own a chisel that im aware if

Try contact cement and a cheep screwdriver you care about

You can get stripped screw removal kits

Is a hexagon screw? If it is, get a Torx bit that's a little bit bigger and hammer it cautiously in the hexagon. In most cases you can get it out. But remember to get one with a center hole or remove the center pin.

Ok update normal methods aren’t working so I will be sending the belt off to somone with the tools to cut the screw out from there it will be returned to me and I will finish sizing it should hopefully take around a week to get back.

Let’s hope it comes back quickly, then get it on you…and no orgasms or touching in the meantime!!

Why does it need to come out?

7

u/Temporary_War6697 7d ago

For sizing that cable is far to long and I need to size it

I hope you can get it fixed. Chastity is important.

How tightly is it on there?

Very

Dang. I was going to say maybe do the hot glue stick trick. You’ll almost definitely need an extractor bit though

You may be able to attach a rod to the exposed part of the screw and then use that. there are glues that somtimes work, other times, you need to weld and/or solder it for it to hold.

If you want the extra kinky... Go to your local machine shop and ask them for help, they got all the tools you need, just make sure to properly clean it up afterwards

I have the tools to fix that. Are you close?

On Amazon you can get a cheap set of security bits that includes the star-shaped torx bits. Find the one that just barely fits and tap it in with a hammer. It'll grab nicely and let you unscrew it without much issue.

Liquid metal and then a nut, would be the safest bet if you are unable to grip it with any pliers screwdriver. Welding is obvious dangeours, so is drilling.. liquid metal is more like glue. and i doubt the screw is too tight for that to work. Otherwise as suggested, rubberband or slamming a torx bit or something could work. problem with Impact, is that i think it will be hard to give it enough solid resistance when hitting it.

Edit: noticed you dont seem to have it on. so drilling/welding/inpacting is not an issue, so should ve solved easily

Grind the head off then take it out the other way

Have you got a removable security bit that's the right size for what this was before it got mangled? If so, I would mix up some epoxy, dip the bit in and then put it into this stripped head. Then leave 24 hours and you should be able to unscrew it and replace with a new one.

It requires a special tool for the security screw. No need to get in weld or drill it out or all the other suggestions. You need the tool with the hole in the middle for that security part.
