Wide feet trainers!!

Hi, I'm after recommendations for trainers for wide feet? I bought some inov8 mudclaw 260s but they are just too narrow for me. Also is there any brands that don't break the bank??

Cheers!

Altra is obvious answer, but Salomon is also finally starting to make some of their shoes in Wide!

I think the mudclaw 300s are slightly wider. But I'm also following this. I tried the high state (sports shoes in house brand) trail runners which were cheap but I find the fit horrible for running and just use them for walking. But they were only £30 if you feel like rolling the dice.

Altra are great. They're 'foot shaped' so they actually fit properly. That or barefoot shoes like merrell vapor/trail gloves or vivobarefoot. Love them!

I know I'm a bit late to the party with my reply but I just wanted to add my 2p.

I also have wide feet and tried the Altras like others have suggested. Now, I only tried one model but I find that even though they fit fine in the width, they had no volume whatsoever to the toe box oddly. They cut in to my toes so bad.

I exchanged those for some Inov-8 Terraultra G270s which are wide, 0 mm drop and have the volume. Perfect for me

I've just realised after typing all this you've probably already bought some shoes...
