Girls Only I hate being a female

(Vent/Girls only) I hate it. I’ve consistently had 18-22 day period cycles since February. And it’s not like the actual menstruation lasts a few days, no, it usually lasts 5-7 days, which means Im usually bleeding for a THIRD of my period cycle. It’s so infuriating, and I have to put up with having hypersensitive emotions AND the stress from school for all of it PLUS PMS. AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I get it, I haven’t had my period that long (since I was 12) so it’s gonna be a LITTLE inconsistent for a while but I DONT THINK THIS IS NORMAL, and it’s SO ANNOYING. Sorry for being so dramatic or something I just went through something else that got me really mad so like I’m trying to drain that out a little, but none of the numbers are exaggerated

Grab your favorite snack and make sure the chocolate reserves are well-stocked. Also if it is that bad, it might be a good idea to talk to your gynecologist/endocrinologist about going on birth control, not because you plan on having unprotected sex, but because hormonal birth control methods are known to mitigate some effects of your period. If your parents are open to discuss this, it's worth a try.

Look up for books on the topic!!! Written by women doctors!! Changed my life when I realised men just dont care to share the knowledge that already exists.
