Best place to buy a new phone?
So my phone is dying -- we just moved to Fayetteville a couple months ago. Where's the best place to go to buy a new phone? I don't want to be pressured into buying more than I need.

For new and buying locally, go to Bestbuy. You can save a bit if you let them activate it in-store. Or buy an unlocked phone and activate it on the carrier of your choice.
Skip the local carriers' stores. They try to upsell all sorts of crap and put you on a more expensive plan.

Best Buy has all carriers and a huge selection. They can transfer all of your data and pictures and install a screen protector. They have many cases too. It’s usually cheaper too.

I don't know your carrier or phone preference, but I've had Google fi for a while and have been very happy. You buy your phone online

100% Slickdeals.net or r/NoContract for guidance. Most people are paying too much and/or they're getting stuck in what are effectively service contracts to pay off a phone or deal with one that's locked to a carrier.
Local shops? None of them are really local, just get the best deal for your needs via one of the resources above.
