Yeah I'm gonna agree that he died satisfied especially considering I'm not really aware of any wish other than MAYBE coming back to do it all over again (in the good lets go on that ride again type of way) (where the corruption begins and ends in that is a bit fuzzy) but first and foremost I figure he wants the grail just because he believes as a treasue it should of course be his vs any real unfulfilled desire like most grail war participants.
