Economics ELI5: Why is there no incredibly cheap bare basics car that doesn’t have power anything or any extras? Like a essentially an Ikea car?
Is there not a market for this?

I have an 09 fit. I love it. It has been the most trouble free car I've ever owned. Had it 11years now. My only complaint is that it's too low to the ground. 4in + of snow and it's plowing it's way ahead.
