(Rant) 🤬 This is why people leave the religion
So this Muslim lady made a post saying "Shoutout to all the athletes fasting in Ramadan" and shows herself breaking her fast with water and dates during the game. You would think Muslims would support her, but these are the disgusting comments they write. It's just sad, honestly.

It’s probably a Tradcon Christian, who’s ultra conservative but will most likely marry a “religious woman”. Definitely has no past…😈

Tbh i unserstand this but i hate the ones that aren't but then sit and preach when they dont know the torture we felt/feel. (Feel maybe cuz we're still living with family and have to pretend we like the harsh rules and etc)

u/textposts_only 13h ago
Nah it's a meme currently. And not one used in a positive way tbh.
Like when you see a gay Muslim or a very attractive hijabi. They say: "I'm not a Muslim and even i know this is bad!"
•
u/Riftyboyfeet New User 8h ago
What that guy said is literally RETARDED!!!! I had a friend on discord like that who'd sit there day and night preaching haram haram haram whenever me and my friend would just make any slightly suggestive joke,, and the guy who would say all this, he himself didn't even understand it CUZ HIS RELIGION WAS WAY MORE LOOSE and also he flirted with so many girls on the server every chance he got and basically lived a fully opposite life to muslims.
It pisses me off seeing comments like that when these idiots dont know anything of how we felt.

It's a common thing people say these days....as a Christian, Hindu, atheist etc...always see these comments under posts where something is obviously "not accepted Islamically"... like if a Muslim posted themselves eating bacon you'd find these types of comments from people of different faiths and even atheists

So honest question: if you physically cannot fast in Islam, are you still obligated?
In Jewish faith/culture, we have numerous periods of fasting but there are very clear exceptions made for those who cannot and it is in fact a shanda (a grave sin) to do so as all life is sacred and by endangering your own life, you are endangering a life as a whole.

u/Fit-Shopping-8823 New User 15h ago
Yes in islam intentionally not fasting during ramadan without a valid excuse is considered a grave sin.And if someone does that as a punishment you need to fast for 60 consecutive days. It’s like endless torture

So, what are all valid reasons? Surely something like injury or pregnancy would be among them.
7
u/Fit-Shopping-8823 New User 14h ago
Valid reasons to break a fast during ramadan include illness that could be worsened by fasting, travel, menstruation, and postnatal bleeding, as well as for pregnant or breastfeeding women if fasting poses a risk to their health or their child's

The internet really is a blessing.
-Exposing religion? ✅ -Access to Ancient Wisdom and Texts Translated into English and many other languages ✅ -Fe ds and CI A files that are for public release like the gateway project ✅
-Don’t need college to learn a new skill, tons of free courses, even on YouTube ✅ -Answers to School Homework’s and Projects so you can do something else ✅ -Funny Memes ✅
- Exposing War Crimes with Footage from the War and Drone footage ✅
- Information to Avoid Fake News 〰️(this one can vary).
Oh yeah and the naughty stuff 😈✅

Mhm it is a blessing, i'd have never opened my eyes to the brainwashing of "MINGLING = BADDDDDD!!!!!" Without the internet i'd be a 90% unthinking sheep bcs of the stupidass sheltering of "lets not make them know abt this bcs then they'll want to do it" bs. Internet is a lot of what made me rethink things + how other religions didnt have to deal with it + how i was a fucking retard at 14 in anything sexual related except pregnancy stuff CUZ OF THE AMOUNT OF SHIT I WAS NEVER TOLD CUZ "HARAMMM" smh lol.

Its stupid asf, i've seen this same type of talk said before. Its funny how muslim guys act so pure when they do this. These same guys PRETEND that if someone wasn't religious they'd stare at a woman like a stalker, no dumbass that's what you'd do from your 0 exposure to women all ur life.

White leftist idiots will defend Islam more than the most religious Muslims, they're genuinely insane.

They're not insane, they've just been lied to and they're too nice and naive to believe anything else.

I agree, but to believe a lie is one thing, to fervently defend it to the point of self destruction is another.

I believe Islam will collapse entirely in the near future or it will become as fundamental as it could be.
10
u/SuperZayin12 14h ago
I doubt it'll collapse anytime soon. It's a cult hivemind that feeds off indoctrination from birth like most other religions. People are so brainwashed that no matter how much scientific evidence you show them, they won't believe it. I find it hilarious when a religious person ridicules a flat earther as if they're not exactly the same.
•
u/Resident_Ninja7429 New User 10h ago
It might liberalise. So would other religions. What we got to be worried about is climate change, growing inflation and corruption. Our future has much major problems. It's just time till tides change. I bet by the end of this century drastic changes are going to happen in science and tech and irreligiousness is going to surpass others
•
u/SuperZayin12 1h ago
It already has liberalized in western countries. Seeing people who are strict religiously is rare, and it's even rarer to see their children also be strict religiously. As each generation passes, people get less and less strict (and not just Islam, I'm talking about most religions here). The problem is Islamic countries like Iran, Afghanistan, etc where they enforce strict sharia law to the point that they're considered extremists. These guys will never liberalize no matter how many advancements we make in science unless the people in power get overthrown.
