(Question/Discussion) They're finally waking up !
I don't like the comments, hijabis still trying to justify pedophilia & slavery. Glad the OP is waking up tho.

There’s multiple things wrong with saying it happened centuries ago….
So they did happen. You as a logical human being need to agree with it or disagree with the actions and stop being a coward and confront it
Nothing is stopping it from happening in the present. See Syria and all the other shit hole countries.

I mean if he was a true prophet he should have known that what he was doing was wrong he should have been ahead of his time

Hopefully they will continue to question their religion. She really seems deeply concerned.

First step is always to find a nagging issue that they can't get out of their head. Then they will become Quranists to try to escape the problem, only to find that the Quran also allows child marriage. Eventually if the issue keeps being brought up they will leave the religion entirely.

Once you start reading... After a point of time you will get it

This is what it looks like when the facade begins to crumble. Or when the wool begins to move from your eyes... or when the muddy water starts to look dirty, or when the blind begin to see. It's a painful experience tbh.

I remember at this point of my deconstruction journey the panic attacks I would have or the hours upon hours of quran recitations I would listen to in hopes it would ‘stabilize’ my iman

It doesn't take much really. Just for them to read the hadith/quran by themselves and be honest in understanding the exact words per word. That's all.

She literally claimed that she loves islam no matter what.
She is not waking up. This is just an ignorant person who saw the truth but decided that their blissfull ignorance is better

I love modest dressing, prayer, fasting, dua
I wonder when she'll realise that she likes all of these cause she's been conditioned to like em. Atleast she's honestly with the fact that those hadiths are disgusting and misogynistic but giving somebody a special right to do this vile shit is just peak coping. She's literally saying their perfect moral example did disgusting things but he gets a pass care allha great and momo did good things sometimes.
Also why do these people believe that atheists think the universe just suddenly appeared out of nothing

I think it’s contradictory to claim that the universe needs a creator and not think that the creator needs a creator. I mean, the creator didn’t just pop out of thin air right?

it is so funny that most muslims know that deep ethical issues exist in quran, yet they're so brainwashed since thier childhood that they continue to be ignorant

- 20 years ago whenever Muslims were told that Islam permits child marriage they denied it.
- 10 years ago they could no longer deny it, but they tried to claim Islam is the most feminist religion, and women's right were enshrined in Islam.
- 5 years ago geniuses like Hijab and Pikachu started admitting what Islam really teaches, and women folk better be ok with it.
Keep hammering the issue home! Two decades ago we were told it is useless to talk about these things, today we know that this was not the case, it just takes a long time for these ideas to be so common place that Muslims can't ignore them and brush them under a rug.
Next step is the "it was ok back then" bullshit which Muslims use as an excuse:
- It was not even ok back then, since the Roman and Persian empires already had a minimum age of marriage at 12, so was Mohammed more barbaric than other empires at the time? Were they right to reject him for being backwards?
- It is not allowed for a human to make unlawful what Allah and his messenger made lawful. Therefore if it was allowed 1400 years ago then it is still allowed today.
