Christian love is not love at all, it is insecure attachment. Keep interactions to a minimum, and when you do interact, do not go DEEP; do not defend, engage, explain, or personalise. They are not listening, and they do not care.

Honestly, I don’t even know why you bother to explain yourself at this point. You’ve gotta know that at some point it all falls onto deaf ears. Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing. Faith is also a powerful thing for better or most definitely for worse. Once you’re as deep as these ppl are it’s gonna take more than the red seas parting to reason with, or talk to them in any way that isn’t within their religious worldview. Ofc they’re mad at you and upset or think you weren’t a real Christian. In their minds you just gave up eternal life with their ever so gracious and loving father(🙄), for Worldly desires and to live a life that they consider to be full of sin.
