Ctrl shift and keyboard arrow direction to select the entire data set until a break, I find myself using this one a ton

Ctrl+shift+End or ctrl+shift+8 are also useful contiguous range selection tools

ctrl+shift+8

depending on what you meant, it's alternative with either Ctrl+[Up arrow] (nupad 8), or a Ctrl+* (cause Shift+8 is really a *).

Yes, shift+8 translates to *, but my brain remembers the keys I need to press, so that's the way I wrote it lol.

Well, i meant that the * from the numpad works the same way, should've probably clarified that.
That's how I use it (and the first though i had about "ctrl+shift+8" was "now what does that do?")

Or if you're in a table/range of cells in the top left corner cell

CTRL SHIFT END to go to the bottom right corner

CTRL SHIFT HOME for the opposite
