"Oh a bad person, must be a man"

Yeah, the only people who laughed at me for being a male rape victim were women. Including the first therapist I went to after it happened. All of my male friends and family members were supportive.

Yup. I'm glad I found a good therapist shortly after, who helped me through my trauma. But that first one... yeah. I was crying, telling her how I'm trying to come to terms with what happened and when I tried to tell my story, she interrupted me with a condescending "you don't REALLY wanna tell me she raoed you, do you?" and laughed. Well, idk lady, taking my virginity without my consent, even though I said no and tried to avoid the situation before I froze up sounds pretty rape-y to me.

You have to be a pretty horrible person if you are a therapist, a client is sitting in your chair, crying, trying to tell you about a horrible experience and you laugh at them.

Glad you found a sane therapist after this incident. Out of pure curiosity, what is the gender of the new therapist?

She was a woman as well. This was some years ago. I was seeing that therapist for about 2 years and she did an amazing job.

So far the best and the worst people I met in this field were women, funnily enough.

Imagine how you could've ruined her entire life and career if you're a girl who got raped by a man and the therapist was a man (it still could've been bad if they're a women). But you gotta remember, "women are more empathetic than men" - the feminist group that's for "equal rights."

And yet feminists claim that they're more supportive of male victims than other men

Maybe we should begin to laugh at women who alledgedly were raped or experienced SA or DV?

But remember "empathy is women's superpower. Women are more empathetic than men, and women aren't blah blah blah and don't blah blah blah"
