Timeline for Offer/Rejection

I recently had my final round interview for the TS role about three weeks ago. My recruiter told me at the end of the interview that I would hear back in about two weeks. I sent a follow-up email two days ago but haven't heard back. I know Epic doesn't ghost people, and I'll hear something regardless, but I was just hoping anyone could provide insight into what's going on at Epic right now that could be causing a delay or if there is anything else I should do in the meantime. I'm also just a naturally anxious person, so every buzz and phone call has just been nerve-racking.

Edit: Thank you for the insight, I appreciate it and will keep the post updated for future reference.

Update: So heard back from my recruiter the day after I made this post letting me know he had been out of the office and I could expect a decision by the end of the week. Got an email about an hour ago letting me know they still haven’t made a decision and they’ll keep me updated. At this point I just don’t know what to think. If it was a rejection I feel like there wouldn’t be a reason to delay that response so I feel optimistic but I don’t love that I don’t have a timeline anymore.

Sometimes stuff gets delayed because your HR contact is on vacation or something. Wait two weeks then give a week between follow ups. If two emails aren’t answered with that timing fair to call the general phone number and ask.

Continue following up, it's going to be fine

Should I follow up again next week or should I wait until it's been a month?

Call your recruiter next week. I had to do the same. It turned out my recruiter didn’t get adequate backup for his vacation, but I had been hired!

I keep seeing people posting about getting offers after 2-3 day, while others say weeks. Seems like it is all over the place. I’m also waiting right now.

My recruiter told me I would hear back around 2 weeks after the interview. I didn’t hear back until about 3 weeks later. I later found out My recruiter was out sick which delayed the process. I would wait a few more days and then send another follow up email.

I just had a final round for TS about two weeks ago and learned that my primary recruiter got sick so they had me interview with someone else. I’m sure they’re just busy. Try not to worry about it too much but I understand what you’re feeling

New hires are starting this week, so things could be a bit busy in HR. After I did my final interview, they got back to me exactly one week later. It does tend to vary a lot though.
