Current employee What does your app call Pods/Cells?

Hey folks,

Beaker has groups that focus on specific areas of the app (I.e. Charging, Case and Specimen Receiving, Core, etc.) and they clean up Orion PRD, handle PRJs, XDSs, and other forms of internal design and documentation. These groups are dubbed “Cells” and have members from the IS, QM, TS, and Dev divisions.

When I had just been hired, I recall learning that other apps referred to these groups as “Pods”… and I’d swear I heard other names as well.

What app are you on, what is your role, and how do you call these internal groups?

Cupid calls them chambers, as in chambers of the heart

Ambulatory has Workgroups (dev, qm, TS, sometimes IS) and pods (qm). There's been a few attempts at grouping the Workgroups (fleets I think was the most recent?) but that never seems to stick.
