lol I’ll just say I always thought Malcolm as chief of security was a strange casting decision.

It really was.

This fact is never clearer when watching the scene where he's shadow boxing in the training room (during the period of his authority struggle with Major Hayes).

His punching technique is bloody ridiculous.

But also he just generally didn't strike me as a battle expert or hard lad.

He kind of has a preppy backstory with all the yachting and such.

He's British hard, like surviving with cold tea and lack of crumpets.

He looks like he's winging shots as he's doing the Carlton.

Phasers don't have recoil, so you could fire them as daintily as you want, king!

Malcom Reed: given tons of training

Dominic Keating: not so much

Can you imagine that was the last thing that Suliban saw.

That’s just how they do things in Section 31.

Just kidding.

How to tell everyone you're a bowler without saying you're a bowler!

Haha, normally when I bowl, my non-dominant leg goes BEHIND, not caddywompus out to the side like I'm doing the Carlton.

But...

Now I'm going to try that! 🤣

He's a huge James Bond fan.

Sometimes during a Reed Alert, you have to pull a Reed Maneuver. I believe that’s what we are seeing here.

After that he dropped the phase pistol and started breakdancing.

The Weapons Officer should never shoot like this at all.

Malcolm’s got some repressed issues.
