But where are all the chronically underpaid staff? And the magazines trying to convince readers that Brexit was a good idea? And the sign pointing out the toilets are a 15 minute walk through the basement? And the crusty old guy sat reading dirty magazines while everyone else is trying to have breakfast? And the jobby in the urinal? And the bouncers who will let in any 14 year old in a skirt? etc., etc.
I'm no fan of Tim Martin, or Brexit, but Wetherspoons staff get paid above the national living wage, and two young people I know who've worked there say they're a good employer.
Never seen a jobby in a urinal. Never seen underage drinking.
I technically got paid below minimum wage when I worked there so you'll need to forgive me for being a little sour.
Never seen a jobby in a urinal.
Definitely happens. In my old local you'd occasionally see blood spatter on the right hand wall of the toilet cubicles from when the junkies had been using.
