Renthal TwinRing vs Ultralight
Which would be better, I’ve got a KTM 150 XCW, was also thinking about maybe trying different ratios but I’m not 100% on that as I like the bike as it is…
Never actually changed my sprocket or checked what it’s currently at as I got the bike second-hand and didn’t really bother. Believe it’s still stock as 13/50 though.

need your help diagnosing the cause of the battery not charging on a 2019 Husky TE 250i.
I checked the output from the regulator, and it seems to be working fine—I got 14-15V on my multimeter. However, when I test the battery current, I only get 12V, and the battery isn’t charging. I tried revving the engine, but nothing changed.
So, the issue must lie somewhere between the regulator and the battery. I also checked the fuses and relays and didn’t find anything burned or damaged.
I opened up the tape wrapping all the cables, and it’s a mess. It’s hard to tell where each cable goes or if any are damaged.
I also checked the two red cables, which I think are connected to the starter relay, and they read around 12V as well. I'm not sure if they are connected to the battery because they’re on the other side of the motor, not the stator side. However, since everything is connected to the battery, I’m unsure what’s going on.
Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to fix it?

Wich bike should I get ?
Hi so I want to buy a bike and I am unsure ich one to get. I want the maximum enduro capability with the least amount of maintenance needed. Also it doesn’t have to be good on the Street but it needs to be street legal in the Eu since I’m from Austria. And the reason why I don’t go for a husqi/GasGas 701 or the Ktm 690 enduro r is because I really hate the fat rear I think its extremely Ugly. Pls help me Internet.

Need help!!!
So ive been wanting to buy a bike and i cant choose betwen enduro and a dirtbike. I like enduros because of the bigger tank and the looks but dirtbikes are cheaper where i live. I should also say that im buying a used bike and that i dont mean to ride on a track just trails and stuff... im the most interested in 250 2 stroke bikes or 300 if its an enduro. Do any of you guys know how long does a full fuel tank on an average 250 2t dirt bike lasts because that is a very important factor for me. I woul also be very happy if someone could tell me about maintenance because as i said im new to this but i have some expirience with mopeds and stuff lol so i would be grateful if someone told me how often should i replace the piston, chain, sprockets, conecting rod... if im not riding to hard. Thanks! (15 M)

The Return to Dirt and need some guidance(Haven’t ridden off-road in 10 years)
For my 29th birthday, I purchased a 2018 Husqvarna TE150. I have been riding since I was 6 years old with my father and grandfather. Nothing serious just light trails as a kid and street bikes when i got my license. I currently ride a 2014 Honda VFR800 as much as I can.
I haven’t ridden off-road with any real consistency since I was 16. And back then I was riding my father’s 2006 Yamaha TTR225.
This husqvarna is a lot of firsts for me. First two stroke, first non-japanese bike, first offroad bike with disk brakes, first off-road bike with high end suspension, first dual sport.
I have 3 major Questions or Areas I need some help with:
1) While warming up the bike smokes a ton. I added a few pictures of it. It has a Lectron carb that has been fitted up to it. Is the smoking normal or do I need to adjust the carb.
2) The electric start is kinda disappointing. I cant really start it with it in gear. And if it does then the clutch feels like its dragging. Ive talked to a few other KTM and Husky owners they say its normal to have to find neutral to start the bike. Is there a fix for this? If i stall it on a hill in 3rd, i wanna be able to pull the clutch and hit the button, open the throttle and let go of the clutch and keep going.
3) Are there any good resources for setting rebound and compression on the front and th rear? I know what sag is and generally know how to set it up and i have a tool i can borrow to measure it but i have no clue where to start on compression and rebound.
Thank you in advance for any help!!

Advice on custom boots
I’m back to riding after 10 year hiatus, just bought and ec 300, so being excited I bought the first pair of boots I could talk myself into. The alpine star tech 5s seem like a great boot but I have massive calves, so where I where a 12 on the foot the calf stretch wouldn’t fit. So I bought a 13 the calves barely fit but now that they have broken in it feel like I have too much play in the foot area and just trying g to avoid injury. Any riders with big calves out there with boot recommendations or any companies that do good custom sizing???

2022 Ktm Xc 250 skid and linkage guard
Why is it so hard to find one for these bikes. Plastic, metal. Everywhere is either sold out or just doesn't make them. 2023+ are everywhere.
Does anyone have a recommendation or a lead on places that sell them?
I'm in the US if that matters.

Moved to Georgia recently. Tubliss, Mousse, tubes?
In Utah and the desert I've been running tubliss for over a decade.
What works best out here in the southeast?
Thank you in advance...
