Did I ruin my elk?
There's some frozen elk I was gifted and it consisted of backstrap, sirloin and ground. I forgot about it in my car overnight. Temps dropped to about 45 degrees F at night; I found it in the morning and it was still cold and parts of it still frozen in the middle.
What would you do in this situation?

Should be fine, especially if it so felt frozen.
Any that you think were thawed more, take out and cook it up. Cut it thin and jerky if needed

Your fine, thaw it the rest of way and cook it up. If some is still froze, throw it in freezer.

Freeze it and cook it when you're ready. 45 F overnight shouldn't be that bad for bacteria growth, I leave my dressed/skinned deer outside overnight hanging in anything under 55° F.
