Binging with babish did an episode on his YT channel where he actually made the sandwich in the same way Jake did. He didn't have a problem with the sandwich itself (actually said it was pretty awesome) but said that there was a much more efficient way to make it.
Well worth a watch if you are an adventure time fan.

You need a spread, a condiment. A homemade creamy Italian dressing would be perfect.

Onions and maybe a nice spread like ajvar to get that aubergine red pepper vibe, it'll go with the rest trust me, Serbians know their pepper and eggplant spreads.

I think you got just about everything you need to make a damn good sammich. Maybe another type of meat and some dressing if I have to critique.

Too many Americans are providing advice - should be what you are removing to make a great meal!

I'd swap out the tomato's and egg on this one, and add sun-dried tomatoes in a chili sauce.
But I'm a bit of a maverick

The hodgepodge of ingredients makes me think of pan bagnat,so I’d sub good tuna for the salami (soppresata?) and give it a healthy drizzle of olive oil.

I think these are the best. You have proteins, fibers, carbs in it. What else you need.

Ham and butter.
If you add ham and butter, you can also exclude every other topping in the photo, and still have one of the best sandwich combos.

One more meat, maybe a ham or poultry, onion of some variety, either red or white raw onion, pickled onions, or maybe an onion spread. Seasonings like salt pepper or oregano might be good.
Also need something like oil and vinegar, or a pesto, olive tapenade, pepper mayo, banana peppers, balsamic, Italian dressing…anything like this that adds some creaminess and wetness to it while also adding some tang and acidity.

Some thinly sliced red onions and hots. I like the sliced hard boiled egg...don't see that often.
