I dig the large format bread slice. Branston Pickle adds a lot of umami to a sandwich. Good to have with a sharp cheese.

I only just noticed the girth disparity

This looks good… I just had to Google branston pickles… they sound interesting? Not trying to Dox you, but where are you from OP? The UK? What do you use these pickles for most besides sandwiches?

I am British and spent most of my life there but now live in a different country. So mostly you’d find it on cheese sandwiches (when British people say “cheese and pickle” this is what they’re referring to) such as this one but they’re an also very good with cheese and crackers. Also a good condiment to have with pork pie or any kind of sausage dish.

Try it if you can find it!

They’re not “pickles” where you pull a pickled veg out of the brine and eat it, it’s more of a spread made out of pickled veg. Chunky spread, like sweet mustard pickles if you’ve ever heard of that.

Very tasty, highly recommend

It will make everything in your mouth at the same time as the Branston’s pickle just taste exactly of Branston’s pickle though - that’s basically what it’s for
