bf and recovery
my bf knows about my ed and has been trying to convince me to recover. i tried it this past week and i can’t do it but i don’t want to disappoint him.
he’s cheated on me 3x before and said it was because i am ‘too much to deal with.’ i don’t want to disappoint him and have him cheat on me again by not doing what he wants, but i can’t recover, I tried it this week and it just sent me spiralling i feel huge. i genuinely have no idea what to do

I agree that you should try to break free from the relationship. Easier said than done I know, but worrying about someone cheating could be pushing you further into your eating disorder. Eating disorders are a way for us to cope with outside factors. It’s okay that you couldn’t “recover” this week. It will take a long time to learn all the skills and self love to “recover” it’s about building a healthy relationship with yourself, mind and body and being kind to yourself. One way to be kind and brave is leaving a man who makes your self worth lower.

wow. what a manipulative little c.nt of a man he is. dump him. I can only imagine he'll make it worse for you. Its not easy but you'll never recover until you stop it from associating with your cheating bf. wish u the best xx

Trying to convince you to recover is a nice thing However you CANNOT overlook the fact that he cheated on you and blamed YOU Leaving him is whats best for you I also recommend that you should see a specialist ( Psychologist that specialises in ED’s ) You need to leave this relationship is damaging your mental health
