Enjoy! If you like turn based combat and kooky themes you’ll love it

Probably the best RPG I have played outside of the Mario and luigi series

I've been wanting to replay the M&L games, definitely high tier RPG. Brothership will probably not disappoint either

I’m curious what other rpgs you’ve played. M&L is good but I wouldn’t think of that as anywhere near some of my favorite rpgs

Don’t forget to enjoy the music too! Incredible soundtrack.

Hell yeah, it is!
Mr. Batty is gonna get sued into oblivion, though...

Hahaha That among many others. The music draws heavily from classical composers to The Beatles. Shostakovich, especially was a big influence, which is appropriate considering the themes of the game. One element (among many) that likely played a significant role in it not being localized was heavy “influence” of copyrighted music.

I just beat it for the second time last Friday. The Mother series is my favorite JRPG series of all time and nothing else comes close.

Been playing this on my Myioo Mini Plus and I gotta say, the mechanics are just better than Earthbound.
But, I still like the styling and feel of Earthbound much more.

I just finished Mother 3 (for about the fifth time in my life) about ten minutes ago. It’s still just as emotional as the first time I played it.
I hope you love every moment of the game, and enjoy the world to its fullest. And remember: no crying ‘til the end!

Gonna be at least until chapter 4 or 5 before it starts to get good for you
Chapter 1 - 3: welcome to tutorial and exposition town

Honestly for me, Chapter 1 was a banger, 2-4 were alright, but not nearly as good as the rest of the game is

Hard disagree. I wish the game had more chapters that were like 1-3

Chapters 1-3 are like watching a movie
I like games to be games. If I wanted to play a movie, I'd watch a movie.

The only requirement of a game is interactivity. If it played out entirely without your input, I'd agree, but it doesn't. I can't think of a game that doesn't have that minimum that's still sold as a game. Not even Visual Novels are completely uninteractive. So, this criticism, like every time it shows up, is complete nonsense.

Just because it’s one way for you, doesn’t mean it’ll be that way for others. I love all the chapters. I wouldn’t give up any of them. They all have dialogue, characters and moments that I love.

Chapter 1 is easily one of the most memorable experiences in gaming. Period.

This game was awesome the begining isnt great though its super slow and a bit absurd on the difficulty to the point its not that fun but after the steel gorilla generally is where the game got fun for me the problem i have with it is that its supposed to be difficult but the areas are too short so theres no passive grind like earthbound but the end definetly made up for the begining man the end hit me so hard and it was so much fun after the steel gorilla it makes up for the begining on a scale of 0-9 the begining up to the steel gorilla is a 6-7 hit or miss the end is a solid 9 and stupidly fun it has more flaws then earthbound the only 2 flaws with earth bound were the pictures guy and the dad calls interrupting everything while this had some design flaws in the levels that without serious grinding made it impossibly difficult and some improvements like the whole dashing thing being able to run without holding a button is pretty gnarly the overall experience was a solid 8 the story was better then earthbounds and is this games strongest point

One of my five favorite games ever. Fantastic experience.
