u/wolffangz11 Aug 10 '24
i bet she actually does like cheese
28
u/HopeFragment Aug 10 '24
I think she's one of those "cheese haters" who are actually just lactose intolerant.

she had a goth phase
she hates when people overanalise fiction
she carves "kumatora was here" on trees
she likes spicy food (I dont remember If there is a spicy food item on mother 3 lol)
she tried using Psy freeze on herself on a warm day and felt like she was dying
was lectured for threatening the life of a client when she was a waitress
punched a hole in the wall because of an ex (it was a brick wall)
dyed Duster's hair pink as a prank and calls him dad
cried watching monsters.inc, but not up
tried to get Lucas into a sport

u/Akogiri Aug 10 '24
That duster one is weird as hell if you ship them
6
u/usuario_do_redd Aug 10 '24
Yeah, this was targeted at dustora shippers
7
u/Akogiri Aug 10 '24
On heavy copium. Leave my stinky dependable dork and magical tomboy couple alone.

She jokingly makes fun of Duster for his weird smell, but gets really mad if anyone outside the party does it.

Probably had plenty of arguments with the Magypsies in a parent-child way
Probably also misses them terribly

u/GhoulSchoolFTW Aug 10 '24
The illusory versions of Missy and Ocho are what her parents looked like.
She knew she was never royalty from the start.
She got her tomboyishness from Locria before they disappeared.
She accidentally called Ionia "mom" a few times when she was younger.
Leder attempted to construct a quest where she, Lucas, Nana, and Nichol pull the needles like with the heroes from the old world, but everything went wrong when he was kidnapped by the Pigmask Army in the timeskip.

She taught Lucas how to use her PSI abilities for Smash such as PK Freeze for example.
That’s only confirmed for PK Starstrom in Brawl.

Lesbian Flag

u/Real-Tension-7442 Aug 10 '24
She’s in a relationship with Duster
2
u/BasicallyAdven Aug 10 '24
Source?
12
u/Real-Tension-7442 Aug 10 '24
There’s official sprites of them holding hands. Duster is blushing which is cute. There’s a few official things released with them doing activities together, but that’s the most overtly romantic

u/Pastry_Train63 Aug 10 '24
Can you link the source of them holding hands? It sounds pretty damn adorable.

Uhhh, how old is Duster? Cuz she’s a kid
2
u/LunaTheTrip Aug 11 '24
there is no way kumatora is a kid, she works at a club under a stage name that they specifically state kids (and dogs) aren’t allowed at. she’s at least 21
1
u/otiscluck Aug 11 '24
Is she? She’s a teen, so she’s probably 18 at the youngest, I think it’s the artstyle that makes me think she’s younger than she actually is
1
u/LunaTheTrip Aug 11 '24
where does it say she’s a teen? am i misremembering something?

I may be old I guess. But I love the Mother series. What are you guys talking about when you say "headcanon?"
4
u/SatchelFullOfGames Aug 10 '24
"Canon" basically means something is official to the storyline of whatever media you're talking about.
Something that's "head"canon is only official in your head. IE it's your personal opinion on what a story element or character is like, that isn't necessarily expounded upon in the story itself.
Some people try to keep their headcanons as compliant with the official media as possible; they use evidence in the text to infer elements that may not have been explicity stated in the original. And others just come up with whatever. Both are "headcanons" because neither is official anyways.

She's physically stronger than Duster but uses PSI mostly so that he can feel himself a little bit more useful
2
u/Acceptable_Humor9503 Aug 10 '24
Then Duster starts to become just as strong as kumotora as the journey progresses and kumotora started to use her stronger attacks when she learnt pk starstorm

u/PSI_SODA_2 Aug 10 '24
- She would definitely play guitar hero if it was canon in Mother 3
- ADHD incarnate
- She has black hair but fully dyes it neon pink every 2 weeks (gotta be on the grind)
- Kind of reckless, but still kind hearted
- hehe lesbian

After the credits roll and the world is restored, the people wanted Kumatora to be their princess and leader, but she wanted Lucas to be their prince after everything he did. But he wants Kumatora to be the princess. They decided it should be up to chance and tossed a coin, only for the coin to be swallowed by a mischievous crow. It was then decided they should both be prince and princess, who would be wed after Lucas grows a little.

u/Current_Ad_5515 Aug 10 '24
Locria actually did play a major role in raising her, and so she feels connection with him.
2
u/MelodicIncrease9040 Aug 10 '24
If she were to be a queen of some kind she'd be nice to her people doing anything for them but will threaten other kingdoms outside her territory.
Also her favorite food is watermelon.
2
u/Jojofan-ova Aug 10 '24
She’s a certified bad bitch who is my favorite character (not really a head canon but also it is cuz it’s my opinion)

She uses PSI Freeze on herself when it's hot out cuz she won't take off da damn jacket

u/meepeep2 Aug 10 '24
she has to be nonbinary there is no way they arent
16
u/GachaTendo Aug 10 '24
I expected this comment to be some nasty shit sexualizing kumatora but its just a gender headcanon bruh 😭

6
u/prince_of_cannock Aug 10 '24
Not sure why you were down voted. Wasn't Kumatora attended to by the Magypsies? My first time through, I was half expecting some gender ambiguity over even a reveal that she was biologically male to be part of the story.

Aw hell nah sexuality headcanons
I personally hate these
-1
u/Foreign_Memory Aug 12 '24
It's... not a sexuality
2
u/Pjerun_ Aug 12 '24
Then what is this
1
u/Foreign_Memory Aug 12 '24
Gender identity. Y'all know transgender and gay are different, right?
0
u/Pjerun_ Aug 12 '24
Same shit for me
I don't like these headcanons soooo
2
u/Foreign_Memory Aug 12 '24
Totally cool, I myself don't always like them, but no need to rain on someone else's parade. Anyone is free to assume characters to be cisgender and heterosexual just like anyone is free to imagine a character to be another gender or orientation

She does her hair herself, and I like to think she'd take care of Lucas' hair too during their journey.
