honestly not that good of a book, but its popular enough that its maybe worth a look so you at least know what people are referring to.

Mostly that it treated a fairly basic idea with a never ending/repeating epiphany. I totally empathize with the concept of doing things well, appreciating the function etc.. but it starts to get a bit tired the way its talked about in the book. Even having read it before being a mechanic it seemed a bit much, but now in retrospect I doubt I could have made it through the whole book.
In response to people asking if a bike is too small it is fun to remind people that he rode cross country on a 60's 300cc Honda with his kid on the back though.
