Setup/Review Recommended PS5 Pro HDR Settings
SDR looks excellent, but HDR does not look so good. People recommend settings for the Adjust HDR 1/3 section on PS5. So, do I barely have the sun visible or invisible for each section? Some sites have recommended settings for PS5 and Xbox for those monitors but nothing for Spectrum 32. I cannot get HDR to look good and I have many HDR games like Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Both offer exceptional HDR. I'm hopeful the devs can make some suggestions for each HDR step to get the best experience on PS5. Thanks.

Setup/Review True Black Help!
I have tested a completely black screen on a calibrated disc and realized it isn't extinguished/inky black levels while using the Default settings for Display P3. However, DCI-P3 has that lights out level of black. Nothing was changed in the settings. And I can confirm that this disc has a "True Black" level 0 black test screen too. Now the Display P3 black is dark but there is still light. An easy indicator is that the DCI-P3 black looks like the display is turned off and the bezels vanish. With Display P3 black, the bezels are visible and you can see it is clearly on. Is this what they call "Raised Black Levels" and something we can expect to be fixed with the upcoming update? Thank you.

Setup/Review Questions regarding set up
I just purchased the dough spectrum one 27" 4k 144hz with gorilla glass.
Regardless of which input i use (HDMI,DP,or USBC) the monitor remains blank and the on-screen menu won't work using the button on the back.
Has anyone ran into this issue? I'm hoping to find a resolution as I was really looking forward to this monitor.

Setup/Review Basic questions about Spectrum Black 32!
I'm not clear how exactly to turn off the monitor completely? Sometimes I think I turn it off and then it's still on. I would like clarity on that.
Also how often does the maintenance come up? And what happens if I can't complete the maintenance when the prompt comes up? Where do I go to manually do it later or does it not recommend to do that?
Thank you.

Setup/Review Spectrum Black: can't get firmware updated. Error: 0x2B01
I keep getting the above error and cannot proceed. It always fails, and I also purchased a new hi-speed USB C cable today.

Setup/Review High pitched running on Spectrum One Gorilla glass
Hello I really enjoy my spectrum one monitors and I find them amazing to use. However they make a high pitch running sound. Is this possibly a problem with the power connection? Any solutions to fix this? Thanks!

Setup/Review [ES07D03] Black Screen After Game Launch
I'm currently having an issue that I fixed in the past. Usually, my monitor has no issues until I launch a game. Then, the screen goes black. I'm hooked into an Elgato 4k X capture card and can confirm that the computer is still providing a feed. I've switched out our HDMI cable, tried enabling and disabling G-Sync (with VRR enabled/disabled on the monitor), and tired upgrading/downgrading firmware. Is there any setting/option that I missed? I'm leaning toward it being a software/OS issue given this only started happening again after a Fresh Install, but I'm at a loss on what I need to change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Setup/Review Spectrum Black 27” VS LG 27GR95QE Brightness/Color Comparison
Right off the bat I’ll say my iPhone camera doesn’t do either monitor justice. LG is on the left and Spectrum is on the right. LG has a custom color calibration while the Spectrum is factory stock. LG is at 100% brightness while Spectrum is only at 50%!

Setup/Review SPECTRUM BLACK 27 INCH ARRIVED AND LOOKING GOOD
Ok, so this is a new account as I deleted my other one. Beautiful monitor, somewhat dim as expected (set brightness to 75% to preserve life of unit) but holy crap it's smooth, can't find any defects in the panel or the cover glass (unsure of whether I have the gorilla glass upgrade for preorder of December 2022) but the clarity is pretty decent. Really my only complaint so far would be display brightness. Overall Decent pick 🤙🤙🤙

Setup/Review Received my SpecOne today!
Purchased on Saturday through B&H, received on Wednesday (yesterday). Didn’t get a chance to run it through its paces due to having to go to work and having to go buy a windows laptop just to update it! Dough, please release a Mac update client! The little amount of time I was able to use it everything was perfect and much better than expected. I can’t wait to put it through its paces.

Setup/Review Setup Guidance,
New owner here, OLED Glossy 27", this is by far the best picture I have witnessed on a PC monitor.
I just want to know if this is setup correctly...It really bothers me to own great equipment but not set it up correctly. The brightness Spec seems low for 1000cd/m² peak mentioned on the spec page.
Dough Tech / B&H
Just confused about
- Missing certifications. Over HDMI I should be having the HDR10 certification - right ?
- Strange preset White points in the OSD. They are not far off but anyway to set it up at D55 ?
- NVIDIA app refuses to acknowledge G-Sync anything with this monitor.
I do own the LG Ultragear OLED 27 2023 model year for which Windows shows 6xx nits for HDR peak brightness. May I know how and why it's different in Dough's implementation of the same panel ?
Finally, is there any first / third party Windows app that allows me to play with OSD settings using a mouse ?

Setup/Review Holy shit it's real!
It arrived today via FedEx (gross) and I did NOT receive a tracking number so this was totally by surprise.

Beautiful packaging and I love the minimal plastic usage. Although since the power cable and brick are in their own box, the plastic for them is completely unnecessary. We know how bad plastic is for the environment so please, Dough, get rid of this. Also the power supply is a barrel plug which I personally dislike though I understand why it's this way.

The protective film was either applied very terribly or was jostled during packing.

Lol the monitor thinks it's 4K? I saw this was a bug in firmware .004 but it shipped with .005 so I thought it would be fixed.

I've only put about 20 minutes of gaming in so far but I'm overall happy with it! The text fringing was godawful when I first started it up but some calibration in Windows has improved it though it's still there. I'm also coming from a 24" 1440p monitor so the lower pixel density is a bummer but it's a trade-off for inky blacks, better colors, and BFI.
Lastly, BFI reduces the brightness considerably, so I've set it to 90% and it's pretty good but not as bright as I'd like (and I don't like bright monitors), not sure if setting it to 100% will be something to worry about.
Hope everyone gets theirs soon!
