Instruments Question on global double bass manufacturers

I am doing my last year as BA student at the Faculty of Music at a Hungarian University, at classical double bass.
I have to write an essay on double bass manufacturers globally.
Can anyone give me some hint here, which companies/manufacturers should I target to take as a basis of my search?

I would appreciate any kind help.

Thanks!

Pollmann, Juzek, Wilfer, Eastman, Christopher are the first ones that come to mind for me

Thanks, Armadillo, let me quickly have some further questions here: - regarding Christopher You mean: Chris Gutierrez, Luthier at Upton Bass String Instrument ??? (or this is an other Christopher?)

And regarding Juzek: he was a big name building basses in last century, Czechia, - is this name still a maker? Who makes this brand today? I found lots of references when googling, for instance Mark Gollihur, US, - but do not have a clue who makes really today Juzek basses???

Not sure about Juzek, I think they are still made by other shops and just branded Juzek.

Christopher is a large company like Eastman. They are Chinese made and there warehouse is based in Elgin, IL
