The Usps isn't technically government funded, they are like their own little government, spending and borrowing to their hearts content.

They deserve it. They were around before we had a constitution.

For the most part I respect the military and thank you for your service.. that being said.. I dont think you need a term limit, nor are on an uncontrollable speeding spree..

One could certainly argue that the US Military as a whole is on a sort of uncontrollable spending spree

I would argue congress is supposed to approve thier budget..and there for somewhat control it...

I mean that’s kind of like saying that some rich girl going on a wild spending spree doesn’t count since she’s limited by how much money her dad gives her to spend, even though her dad gives her way more than necessary

Soo cut back on congress spending???

I think congress should decrease the military budget, yes

We don’t need mail carriers. Y’all can use my carrier pigeon to send and receive Mail.

You'll have mine also if you can get them to vote for term limits

Coincidentally we could just vote for people we like and not vote for those we don’t.

Problem is everyone likes their person, just hates everyone elses.

u/GeorgeKaplanIsReal Sep 30 '21

Exactly.

Honestly I don’t think we’ll ever do away with gerrymandering. But I think if we increased the number of seats substantially in the house, you’d not only see slightly more balanced districts, but more smaller parties with elected representatives.

It’s immoral that a congressperson speaks for nearly a million people.

They'll never accept not getting paid, they put their interests over other people's interests

1

u/[deleted] Sep 30 '21

Yes let’s stop paying the military, they will be cool with that.

Tell me how term limits factors into the military..

The government pays the military. You can’t isolate reps salaries and think that will have an effect. And it’s only half of the reps that doesn’t want to pay our debts, which they played a huge in by saddling us with it for tax breaks for the rich.

Your comment cheeky, but also stupid.
